Majors / 12U:
The 12U division continues to advance the game of softball. Players learn various new rules such as the dropped third strike and infield fly rule. A full sized 12 inch softball is introduced at this level and the players pitch from a greater distance from the plate. The regular season is 12 games followed by a tournament. At this time, Haddon Heights and Barrington are a combined league at this division level. The HHYA softball committee and the Barrington Girls Softball League work closely to develop the best program possible. Coaching opportunities are open to both Haddon Heights and Barrington parents with the goal of creating a fun and unified experience with the girls from both towns. These relationships will carry on into their high school softball career.

This type of play includes the fundamentals and more advanced styles of play are taught. The regular season is 12 games followed by a tournament. At this time, Haddon Heights and Barrington are a combined league at this division level. The HHYA softball committee and the Barrington Girls Softball League work closely to develop the best program possible. Coaching opportunities are open to both Haddon Heights and Barrington parents with the goal of creating a fun and unified experience with the girls from both towns.
