HHYA Spring 2025 Softball

Haddon Heights Youth Athletics offers Softball divisions for Clinic/T-ball (ages 5/6), 8U Rookies (ages 7/8), 10U Minors (ages 9/10) and 12U Majors (ages 11/12). (We anticipate having a 13/14 league in Fall 2025; Spring softball leagues are available in Audubon and Barrington.)

Opening Day is scheduled for Saturday, April 12, 2025, which will include our Opening Day Parade and Ceremonies, weather permitting.

Volunteers wanted! When registering your player, please consider signing up as a volunteer. Whether it's working the snack stand or helping our youngest players understand the fundamentals, our program's success is due to your support!

Registration Information

Baseball and Softball registration will take place from January 6 - February 7, 2025.
Discount applied at registration when signing up siblings.
Late fee of $20 will be applied for those registering February 8 - 14, 2024
NO SIGN-UPs AFTER FEBRUARY 14.
A $35 Field Maintenance fee will be assessed per family as in years past.

Eligibility

Residents of Haddon Heights and students who attend a school within Haddon Heights Borough limits are eligible to play.
Additionally, Little League allows out-of-town players (ages 4-7) and their older siblings to join our softball program this season. If you are an out-of-town family and are interested in additional information, please reach out to [email protected].

Program Descriptions

Softball

Softball/T-Ball Clinic (Ages 5/6) - $110: Runs from Opening Day (4/12/25) through early June. Coaches/parents lead softball drills, skills and games in small teams settings. Coordinators will reach out in late March. Visor or headband and T-shirt included. Clinic is typically held on Saturday mornings and one other day per week. Coaches will contact families in late March. Needed: Softball coaches to encourage a fun and positive experience!
8U Softball Rookies (Ages 7/8) - $110: Players bat using a coach-operated pitching machine and play 90-minute games (12 - 14 games). Teams play other local Rookie Teams from nearby towns. Indoor practices start mid-March; weekday games. Full uniform and visor or headband included (except pants). Coaches will contact families in late February/early March. Needed: Softball coaches to encourage a fun and positive experience!
10U Softball Minors (Ages 9/10) - $160: Players pitch with umpires and learn more about the game, such as walks, strikeouts and stealing bases. A 12-14 game season prior to playoffs. Indoor practices start mid-March; weekday and some weekend games begin early April and run through June. Coaches will reach out in late February/early March. Full uniform and visor or headband included (except pants).
12U Softball Majors (Ages 11/12) - $170: Players pitch with umpires and learn more about the game, such as walks, strikeouts and stealing bases. A 12-14 game season prior to playoffs. Indoor practices start mid-March; weekday and some weekend games begin early April and run through June. Coaches will reach out in late February/early March. Full uniform and visor or headband included (except pants). Note: This is a slightly more competitive division than 10U minors, but focus is still on a fun and positive experience!
